 The 40-page hardcover book is a celebration of families of all shapes, sizes, colors, makes and models told in fun, memorable rhymes that will get your child associating different objects in groups – such as silverware's knives, forks and spoons. And after reading this story, I suggest pointing out different objects in your day-to-day life to your child to see what kinds of families he or she will make up (try something that's not in the story, such as different types of juice or shoes). Not only does the book offer an interactive element, it's a brightly colored, eye-catching read. Every page is filled with an array of images and characters that come alive for readers. Applause to Boutavant for such creative illustrations! I can't get enough of this story; I've even got one of its rhythmic lines running through my head right now: "Bottle caps, gingersnaps, buttons, or rings / You can make families from all sorts of things!" Your kiddies may even like the book so much they won't be able to stop repeating it, too. "All Kinds of Families!"
