Aaron has been in the perfume industry for over 20 years and worked as an account executive for Oscar de la Renta, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren Fragrances. She's a single Mom with two boys ages 11 and 12. After being recently laid off from L'Oreal, she decided it was time to fulfill her dream of creating her own fragrance. She came up with a recipe of pomegranate, grapefruit, Mandarin oranges, green tea and some other key fragrance notes. She then contracted the perfumers that formulated Dolce and Gabanna's Light Blue and the new Ed Hardy fragrance, Hearts and Daggers to formulate Puppy Love 4 girlz. "I knew it was the right time,” says Aaron. “Customers would come into Nordstrom, Macy's, Saks and Bloomingdale's every day and ask for a fragrance for a young girl." After years of hearing this with no real product to show, she realized it was a niche that had not been filled. “I remember when I was young we all wore Love's Baby Soft every girl I knew had a bottle,” she continues. “So I decided to create a fresh, clean, contemporary scent and one that mom's would like as well.” Puppy Love for girlz has recently been launched and already there has been a huge, very positive response, according to Aaron. Kristy is currently shopping retail chains for an exclusive distributor. For now it is available at: puppylovefragrances.com. |
