It won’t be long before your kids hear the final school bell signaling summer vacation! While we’re planning camps and pool parties, we forget that the last day of school is greatly significant. Kids are sad to say goodbye to friends, but anxious to revel in freedom.
This year, have the video camera handy on that last day of school. When your kids least expect it, casually interview them about: what they liked about 1st grade, who their best friends were, what they’re looking forward to this summer and what they think next year will be like. Catch them at this carefree moment, and kids will be candid and reflective...creating priceless footage! fam
