His No. 1 ranking at John W. North High School and his place on the All-County Academic Team are distinctions that will pave the way for success for Eric Bourgain-Chang. With a GPA of 4.62 and a score of 2,320 on his SAT exam, this National Merit Scholar winner has earned a Drake Scholarship and will attend UC Berkley in the fall.
   
Eric is also an athlete and a leader. He is a member of the varsity swim team, president of the school’s Chess Club and a National AP Scholar. And when he isn’t performing as an accomplished violinist, he volunteers his time as a science tutor.
