Frankie Quintana
Commanding officer
Grade: 12
Ramona High School, Riverside

At one time, Frankie Quintana was one of those troubled teens who appeared to be destined for anything but success. This senior at Romona High School found his place, however, with the Ramona Jr. ROTC Marine Corp Program.   
   
Frankie has risen through the ranks and is now the commanding officer of Ramona’s unit. His natural leadership abilities and maturity beyond his years have earned the respect of Ramona’s nearly 125 cadets, the administrative staff and his teachers.
   
Also a member of the Health and BioScience Academy, he has explored careers in the medical and science fields, and plans to become a science teacher. Frankie has been accepted to Cal State Fullerton and Cal State San Bernardino.
