Martin Luther King High School, Riverside

Alexandra Herweck is one of seven children. This senior at Martin Luther King High School has been working part time since she was age 14 in order to help at home. She is also saving to pay for her upcoming college tuition. With work, after-school activities and studying, she maintains a 3.9 GPA.
   
In addition to serving as an ASB leader, cheerleader, soccer player and officer in a number of clubs, she serves on the Riverside Youth Advisory Board and volunteers at the local soup kitchen.
