Nisha Deolalikar

Riverside Poly High School

Nisha Deolalikar is the embodiment of Inland Empire’s Shining Student honor. This senior at Riverside Poly High School is a scholar and a leader who is certain to do great things with her talents.
   
Ranked No. 1 in a class of more than 600 graduating seniors, Nisha earned perfect scores on the Reading and Writing portion of the SAT, scoring 2,320 out of a possible 2,400, placing her in the 99th percentile.
   
Named the city of Riverside’s “Most Remarkable Teen” for 2009, Nisha was on the roster of the 10 students named to the Riverside All-County Academic Team.
   
Don’t challenge this young lady to a game of chess. She is a nationally ranked chess player and placed first in the nation among rising seniors at the Susan Polgar National Invitational (SPNI), the country’s most prestigious chess tournament for high school girls.
   
Nisha will be attending Harvard in the fall and plans to major in neurobiology.
