If you like music, food, fun and being around a bunch of the coolest people in SoCal then you definitely want to be at this years OC Fair New Year’s Ever Block Party!
Unlike other New Year’s Eve celebrations, the NYE Block Party is offering great fun in a very fun and casual setting. No black ties here! This NYE Block Party will offer a large selection of the best gourmet food trucks, include full bars selling beer, wine and alcohol, along with many live tribute bands and DJ entertainment by the decade – from the ’60s to the ’90s.
Bands taking the stage will include:
-Hot August Night -Abbey Road -Jumping Jack Flash -Journey Unauthorized -Heartbreaker -Queen Nation -Atomic Punks -Dead Man’s Party -Strangelove -Green ToDay -The Joshua Tree -No Duh
The fun doesn’t end there because this year’s event will also include free Vegas-style games for great prizes, Demolition Derby, DanceHeads, where you are the star of your own video and 3 free carnival rides including Super Shot, Bumper Cars & Super Slide.

Can be purchased at OC Fair box office or online.
General admission – $42.50 ; Groups of 10+ – $38.50 ; Block Party ticket + 2012 OC Fair Super Pass – $62.50.
VIP admission – $85 (includes admission to Block Party, Private lounge with private bar premium liquor and special cocktails, 2 drink tickets, party favors and hors d’oeuvres (served until 11pm), demo Derby premium reserved seating, free parking, 1- 2013 OC Fair general admission ticket)
General parking – $10 ; Preferred parking – $20 (near main entrance)

With all the good trucks going you cant go wrong with any of them but iam looking forward to starting off with Baconmania cause anything with bacon is a WIN ! then maybe the Burnt truck for some killer sliders , and lastly Short Stop BBQ cause its just dang good !
Definatley wanna see Green Today & No Duh cause iam sure there both gonna kick azz ! Wanna hit the Game room for table fun for sure !
Ive never been to the NYE Block Party and ive lived in the area for way to long to not have gone . I think its time !!
I am looking forward to all the food trucks, but mostly White Rabbit and Dos Chinos because I haven’ tried them yet.
I’m taking my best friend mike, and together we want too see almost all the bands. He can’t wait to see Heartbreaker, I’ve been dying to see Atomic Punks and Queen Nation.
The demolition derby and casino games look like so much fun too.

Garlic Scapes truck for sure! What DOESN’T sound good about this: Garlic Fries -mounds of fresh fries, tossed in garlic, and topped with cool feta….served with “scape-sauce” for dipping. Can you say YUM!!!
Just have to make sure my honey is eating them too by the time 12 o’clock hits! 2 garlic breaths cancel each other out!
While I’m munching on my fries, I’ll be enjoying Journey Unauthorized. Don’t stop believin’ everybody!
